Sarah R. Watson
 
Sarah R. Watson -MACON - Sarah R. Watson, age 100, died November
1, 2003 in a local nursing home. Funeral services will be held 11
A.M., Tuesday, November 4, 2003 in Parkway Baptist Church with
burial in Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Martin
Pearson will officiate.

Mrs. Watson was born in Laurens County, Georgia, and has lived in
Macon for the past fifty years. She was the oldest member of
Parkway Baptist Church. She was retired from RAFB and was preceded
in death by her husband, c.l. Watson, Sr., and by her children,
John E. Watson, M.C. Watson, c.l. Watson, Jr., James Watson, Billy
Watson, Lucille Poole, Dorothy Harlan, Ruby McCullough, Linda
Watson, and five grandchildren. 

Survivors include her daughter, Nelda Webb of Baldwin County, GA;
twenty-five grandchildren; seventy-two greatgrandchildren; and
twenty-three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Thomas Albert
Robinson of Macon and Lewis Blanton Robinson of Dublin, GA;
several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held Monday, November 3, 2003 from 7:00 until
9:00 P.M., at Crest Lawn Funeral Home. -Crest Lawn Funeral Home
has charge of arrangements.
