Vinson. Enumerated with Garner Mercer and his wife Sarah Vinson in 1850 and James L. and Mary R. Harrell in 1860. Josephine E. Griffin Vinson born May 2, 1850 died September 2, 1914 Daughter of State Senator Reverand William Griffin and Mary Elizabeth Lingo Descendent of Captain Dr. John Taliaferro and his son Richard, RS. Parents of Mary Lou Vinson Holland and Joe Brown Vinson, U.S. Army WW1 Graves located in the "old" section.
