I have in my posession a copy of this LW&T of Sarah Worthy.  

I need to find the maiden name of this Sarah.  Do not know her parents
and do not have a copy of the marriage license for she and her husband
Thomas C Worthy.

Will was probated January 12, 1885 in Dublin, Laurens Co. Page 133  -
Mrs. Sarah Worthy's Will, State of Georgia, Laurens County
In the name of god.  Amen.
  
I, Sarah Worthy, of said state and county, being of sound and disposing
mind, and knowing that I must soon depart this life, deem it right and
proper that I should make a disposition  of the property  with which a
Kind Providence has blessed me.  Therefore I make this my last will and
testament.
   
First I desire and direct that my body to be buried in a decent and
christian like manner. My soul I trust should be at rest with Him who
gave it through the atoning spirits of a Blessed Savior.
    
Secondly I desire and direct that all my just debts be paid immediately
by my executors herein after named and appointed.
     
Thirdly I give bequeath and devise to my beloved children all of my
property in the following manner:  To John T. Worthy, all of my land on
the east of the Dublin and Irwinton Road, to go with this the plantation
and farming utensils belonging to my land, and also one horse, one cow,
one hog, now on said farm.
       
Fourthly I give and bequeath to my daughter Missouri Worthy all of the
land lying and being on the west side of the Dublin and Irwinton Road in
said county and state together with all of my household and kitchen
furniture of every description.
        
Fifthly  I give and bequeath to my daughter Mrs. Mary Jane Watson  twenty
five dollars to be paid by my son John T. and my daughter Missouri Worthy
out of the affects I give them.
         
Sixthly I give and direct that John T. and Missouri my children, give and
pay to Morgan Worthy one thousand dollars and Ella Pollett my daughter
twenty five dollars, all of which shall be paid out of the property I
give to John T. and Missouri Worthy.
          
Seventhly  I hereby appoint my son John T. Worthy Executor of this my
last will and testament.

Signed, sealed, declared, and published, Mrs. Sarah Worthy as her last
will and testament in the presence of us the undersigned who sign our
names herein in the presence of said testator at her special instance amd
request, and in the presence of each other.

Before me came in person James C. Stanley and of the witnesses to Last
Will and Testament of Sarah Worthy, and being duly sworn says that he
witnessed B.D. Hancock and G.W. Bowen, at the request of Sarah Worthy,
and in her presence and in the presence of each other did attest and
witness to the aforesaid will of the said Sarah Worthy, and that the said
was signed and published by the said Sarah Worthy in her last will and
testament and that she was of sound and disposing memory at the time of

Laurens Court of Ordinary, January Adjourned Tern January 5, 1885
Whereas the last will of Sarah Worthy late of said county  deceased has
been proven in common form upon the testamont of James I. C Stanley one
of the subscribing witnesses.
                   
It is therefore ordered considered and adjudicated by the court, that
said will of Sarah Worthy be admitted to record in this Court in common
form and that John T. Worthy be allowed to qualify as executor and by his
taking the usual oath of the office, that letters testametary do issue to
him in terms of the law.
