   14 original land grants from State of Ga to land in Lee Co. with the Seal 
of Ga still attached to all 13 of them. The seals appear to be made of hardened 
wax, approximately 2" in diameter with the imprint of the 1799 Great Seal of 
Georgia burned into the seal. The records of old Lee Co. are particularly valuable, 
since the Courthouse burned in 1858 all all records were destroyed. Several counties 
were cut entirely from old Lee, and many others partially cut from the orginal 
county. Many are the old, original handwritten records of deeds, etc. The original 
documents will be sent to the Archives for Preservation.
