On motion, John W. Stokes was called to the chair, and George Kimbrough requested to act as Secretary. The object of the meeting having been explained by the chair, the members proceeded to the election of officers and after counting the votes, the chair announced the following gentlemen duly elected, to wit: John W. Calhoun.................................Surgeon Upon motion of Samuel Lindsey, it was unanimously resolved that the Company through their Captain forthwith tender their services to His Excellency the Governor of Georgia.
