A. Wallace, 79, at the chapel of Woodall Funeral Home in Albany. Interment was in Oakview Cemetery. The Rev. Emory C. Gilbert, pastor of the Leslie Methodist Church, officiated. Pallbearers were Bob Hall, Malcolm Hall, Sam Stocks, Jesse Stocks, Joe Stocks, and George Wallace. Mr. Wallace died Tuesday at the Americus and Sumter County Hospital. He had resided in Leesburg until recently when he went to live with a daughter in Leslie. He formerly was clerk of Lee Superior Court, was a member of the Leesburg Methodist Church, and had engaged in farming before his retirement. Survivors include three daughters. Mrs. L. E. Deavours, Leslie; Mrs. J. K. Forrester, Leesburg; Mrs. Frank Rossetti, New York City; a son, William Wallace, U. S. Air Force, stationed in France and 15 grandchildren.
