The Atlanta Constitution Saturday Dec 23, 1876


The Albany News gives an account of the horrible
burning of a little girl, Lizzie Alleck, occurred near
Leesburg last Friday. Her relations left her on 
Mr. E. H. Long's plantation, in charge of several
smaller children, while they went off to a barbecue.
When they returned they found her burned to
a crisp.
