FUNERAL IS HELD FOR MRS. COWART
Funeral services were held at Smithville Methodist church Saturday morning at 
11 o'clock fro Mrs. Willie J. Cowart, 64, who died in Atlanta last Thursday 
afternoon after suffering a cerebral hemorrhage on Tuesday.  She was the 
mother of Mrs. J.T. Murray of Ellaville, and had made many friends while on 
visits here.  Surviving are four daughters:  Mrs. M.B. Suggs, of Atlanta; Mrs. 
J.T. Murray, of Ellaville; Mrs. J.D. Beauchamp, of Smithville, and Miss Sara 
Cowart, of Americus; one son, J.R. Cowart, of Atlanta; three sisters, Mrs. D. 
W. Westbrook, of Cordele; Mrs. W.H. Harrell, of Camilla, and Mrs. P.E. 
Johnson, of Portsmouth, Va., and one brother, M.M. Jones of Whigham, Ga.; four 
grandchildren also survive.  Burial was in Smithville cemetery.
