Doris Kemp Stapler Hardee, 71, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on Monday, May 
8, 2006.  Doris was  born in Smithville, GA on Oct. 4, 1934, to William 
Franklin Kemp and Leona Lou Gosa Kemp.  A graduate of Jones Business College 
in Jacksonville, FL, Mrs. Hardee spent 38 years with State Farm Insurance 
Company.  She was a caring and giving person.

Survivors include her husband, L.A. Hardee III, a son Robert R. Stapler 
(Angel), two grandsons Daniel (Talia) and Brandon Stapler, step-daughters 
Letricia Stroup, Lenea Marshall, and Loree Furr, three sisters Barbara 
Ogelsby, Marion Griffith, and Bessie Lema, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Friday in the chapel of George H. 
Hewell and Son Funeral Home, 4140 University Blvd., S, Jacksonville, FL with 
Rev. Roland R. Cuevas of Blanding Boulevard Baptist Church officiating.  
Burial will be in H. Warren Smith Cemetery.  The family will receive friends 
at the funeral home, from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday.
