Georgia News

A special from Americus to the Atlanta Constitution dated Saturday, says: News 
has just reached this city that Sam Milner, a peaceable negro in Lee County, 
was shot yesterday while sitting in his front door eating a watermelon.  No 
clue to the murderer of cause for the tragedy, as Sam was a quiet, inoffensive 
negro, who was not known to have an enemy in the world.
