It is unknown when he arrived in Georgia but he appears first in 1820 on the Morgan County Georgia census. There is listed in the 1790 Tax records a Rial Fuller, unsure as to whether this could just be an inaccurate transcription or not. It is well known through the family descendancy that Uriah was often shortened to Riah. Uriah won land in Lee County in the 1832 Land Lottery. a part of land which became Sumter County. It is believed that he died about the time of the drawing as at that time is when the deeds started appearing signed by his son Walton W. Fuller as he started settling his father's estate. It is known that he had sons Walton W. and Asa Jefferson. It is suspected that there were other sons, Uriah/Juriah, John, Benjamin F? possibly more and at least one Daughter Louisa. Asa Jefferson married Ellen Faust and they had a daughter named Ellen. Ellen then died and Asa married her sister Susan Faust. Ellen and Susan Faust were daughters of Samuel & Ann Faust who drew land in Lee County in the 1827 land lottery and came from Richland Co. South Carolina. Asa's sister Louisa married William Faust brother to Susan. In 1840 Asa had moved to Early Co. Ga and his mother Elizabeth was living in the home with him. Sometime around 1852 Asa moved on over into Coffee Co. Al. where the family remained for generations. Asa Jefferson Fuller died Feb 14, 1863 from wounds received in the Civil War. Susan died in 1886. They had children: 1. Asa (Ace/Acey) Jefferson Fuller b. 8/27/1847 photo above 2. Uriah Samuel Fuller b. Nov 11, 1848 photo above 3. Henrietta Fuller Jan 1850 4. Saphronia Francis Fuller b.
