Georgia To all Christian people to Whom these presents shall come Benjamin Andrew of Newport in the Parish of St Johns and province aforesaid planter Sendeth Greeting Know Ye that the said Benjamin Andrew for and in Consideration of the sum of Fifty one pounds ten shillings sterling to him in hand at or Before the sealing and delivery of these presents well and truly paid by James Andrew planter of the same parish and province Receipt whereof the said Benjamin Andrew Doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof & of any part and parcel thereof Doth Acquit Exonerate & Discharge the said James Andrew his heirs Executors & Administrators hath Given Granted Bargained Sold Aliened Enfeoffd Convey’d and Confirmd and by these presents Doth fully truly Clearly & absolutely Give Grant Bargain Sell Allien Enfeoff Convey and Confirm unto the said James Andrew his heirs Executors administrators and assigns forever a Certain plantation Tract or Parcel of one hundred and Seventy one Acres and a Half or thereabouts of Land which said tract Being part of a grand Tract originally granted to John Stewart Junr. which said Stewart By his Deed of Conveyance Confirmed to George Godfrey Deceased who Settled on the same but at Lenth By his Deed Convey’d it to the aforesaid Benjamin Andrew the Thirtieth day of August Seventeen hundred and Sixty two and is Situate Lying and being on Newport in the aforesaid parish on a Swamp Commonly called the ash swamp a branch of Newport river and is Butting & Bounding to the North on Land of the aforesaid John Stewart to the South & west on the said James Andrews Land and to the East on the King Road and hath Such Shape and form & Marked trees as is Expressly Laid Down in a plan of the same given along with these presents References being there unto had will more fully & at Large appear Together with the Ways Priviledges Easment Immunities Heriditaments and Commodities thereunto belonging or by any Means appertaining to have and to hold the above Granted Premises and the priviledges of Hunting fishing and fowling within the Limets of the Same and Buildings fences trees & other things thereon standing growing or being the Quikrent only becoming Due to his Majesty Excepted, to him the sd James Andrew his heirs and assigns forever to his and their own proper use & Benefit & Behooff forevermore and the said Benjamin Andrew for himself his heirs Executors & administrators Doth Covenant Promise & agree to and with the said James Andrew his heirs and assigns in manner and form following that is to say that at the time of this present Bargain and Seal and until the sealing and Delivery of these presents he the said Benjamin Andrew is the true sole and Lawful owener of the above granted premises and hath in himself a good Rightfull power and Lawfull authority to Grant Sell Convey Confirm & assure the premises in Manner and form as aforesaid by Virtue of the Aforesaid Deed and that the said James Andrew his heirs and assigns shall and may from henceforth and forever hereafter by form and virtue of these presents Lawfully peaceable and Quietly hold have use Occupy Possess and Enjoy the above Granted premises and their appurtenances and every part and Parcel thereof without any Lett Molestation Trouble Denial Expulsion Eviction or Contradiction from him the said Benjamin Andrew his heirs Executors or administrators or any other person or persons whatsoever Claiming or having any Lawfull Claim Rite Title or Intrust therein from by or under him or them or by any other Lawfull ways or means whatsoever and also that the said Benjamin Andrew his heirs Executors and administrators shall and will upon every Reasonable Request and at the Cost and Charges in the Law of the said James Andrew his heirs Executors or Assigns Further Do and Execute or Cause to be Done and Executed all and every such other & further Lawfull and Reasonable act & acts Deed and Deeds Conveyances & assurance in the Law whatsoever for the more perfit Conveying Confirming & Assuring the premises with their appurtenances unto the said James Andrew his heirs & Assigns as by the said James Andrew his heirs or assigns or his or their Councel Learned in the Law shall be Reasonable advised Devised or Required lastly the said Benjamin Andrew and his heirs Unto the said James Andrew his heirs & assigns against all persons whatsoever the above Granted premises shall warrant & forever Defend by these presents In Witness whereof the said Benjamin Andrew and Mary his wife in token of her free consent to this act and Deed of her husbands Renoucsing her Dower or Right of thirds to or Interest in the Premises hath hereunto set thire hands and seals the Eleventh day of January in the fifth Year of his Majestys Reign and in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Five Signd Seald & Delivered in presence of B Andrew Pramenas [Parmenas] Way John Lyn Juner Mary Andrew Dan Dunham Memorandum I the subscriber one of the witness to this Deed Did see the said Benjamin Andrew Delivery make of the above Granted & mentioned Tract of Land by turf and twig Enterlined between the tenth & Eleventh Line before this Deed was signed Danl.
