All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Beth Collins http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00011.html#0002523 July 12, 2010, 4:53 pm Written: January 12, 1770 Recorded: March 8, 1770 Colonial Deed Book V, p. 87 Georgia This Indenture made the twelfth Day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy and in the tenth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third by the grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King Defender of the faith and so forth Between Samuel Bacon of Saint Johns parish in the province of Georgia Planter of the one part and Palmer Goulding of the said parish and province Planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said Samuel Bacon for and in consideration of ten shillings _____ money to him in hand paid by the said Palmer Goulding at or before the ensealing and Delivery here of the Receipt whereof the said Samuel Bacon doth here by acknowledge hath bargained and sold and by these presents Dot bargain and sell unto the said Palmer Goulding his Heirs Executors Administrators and assigns a certain parcel or Tract of Land containing about five hundred acres more or Less situate lying and being in Saint Johns parish and province aforesaid bounded North by Land of Audley Maxwell East by Land of Kenneth Baillie and Robert Carr South by Land of Robert Carr and Land of John Goulding and West by Land now of John Goulding together with all the houses out houses Edifices Buildings yards gardens Fences ways paths passages Trees Woods Wells Water Courses profits Commodities Instruments (?)
