All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/ga/gafiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Beth Collins http://www.genrecords.net/emailregistry/vols/00011.html#0002523 October 26, 2009, 9:22 pm Written: 23 1770 Recorded: August 6, 1770 Colonial Deed Book V, p. 285 Georgia} To all Christian people unto whom this present writing shall come I John Winn planter of the parish of Saint Johns and province aforesaid Send Greeting Know ye that I the said John Winn for divine good causes and valuable consideration me hereunto moving have given and granted and by this present do give and grant and confirm unto Charles Andrew and Sanders Andrew sons of Joseph and Mary Ann Andrew of the Same parish and province Jointly all that Tract of three Hundred and Eighty Seven acres of Land more or Less whereon the said Joseph Andrew now lives in the aforesaid parish Situate on a Branch of Newport Commonly Called Mulbery Branch and is Butting and bounding to the Northward on Land of Audley Maxwell and John Davis to the Southward on Land of Benjamin Andrew to the Westward on my own Land and East on vacant Land an hath Such Shape form and marked Trees as are Expressly Laid down in a plan of the same given along with these presents Relation being thereunto had more fully and at Large appears To have and to Hold the Said Tract of Three Hundred and Eighty eleven acres of Land and all and Singular the Rights Members and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the Said Charles Andrew and Sanders Andrew and their Heirs Executors administrators and assigns from hence forth and forever Provided Nevertheless and it is my Intent and meaning that as the Said Charles and Sanders Andrew is Young that the said Joseph Andrew shall have the use of the Said Tract of Land above mentioned during his Natural Life and at his Death to by the absolute property and at the Joint use and Disposal of the said Charles Andrew and Sanders Andrew their Heirs and assigns free and peaceably and Quietly without any manner of Lett Trouble or Denial of me the said John Winn or any other person or persons Whatsoever from the ___ and forever more Which premises I the said John Winn Deliver and Give possession of unto the said Joseph Andrew for his use and in behalf of his two sons as aforesaid by Virtue hereof In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and seal the 23d day of ___ 1770 James Cochran John Winn senr Frans Brown and James Andrew Georgia St John Parish} Personally appeared before me Parmenas Way Esqr one of his majestys Justices assigned to keep the peace in said parish James Andrew and made oath that he saw John Winn Senior Sign Together with himself as Evidence to the Same Sworn before me this Second day of August 1770 Jas Andrew Parmenas Way J.P.
