Catherine Emma DUBOSE Chapman, born 8 Oct 1900 in Clinch Co., Ga, died 4 Aug 
1981 in Va. and was buried in Jones Creek Baptist Church, Long, Georgia. 
Catherine married Clyde Lamar CHAPMAN on 9 Nov 1930 in Long Co.


Additional Comments:
Clyde Lamar Chapman married Catherine DuBose, daughter of Samuel Byrd and 
Jennie Blount DuBose.  Mrs. Chapman's grandfather, George A. Blount was a 
Baptist minister for about 50 years.  His known history runs back to the ninth 
or tenth century.  Clyde and Catherine had three children.

Clyde Lamar was clerk of the New Sunbury Association for twenty years, and the 
family historian. He also wrote, "A History of the Chapman Family".
