Elizabeth DELK Chapman, born Mar 1818 in Liberty Co., Ga, died 26 Nov 1892 in 
Liberty Co., Ga and was buried in Jones Creek, Liberty Co., Ga.. Elizabeth 
married John CHAPMAN on 16 Feb 1837 in Liberty Co., Ga.  Her parents were David 
DELK and Elizabeth TERREL Delk.  David Delk was a Scotch-Irish emmigrant to 
this country and a Revolutionary War soldier.  Elizabeth was the mother of 
fifteen children, twelve of which lived to adulthood; eleven married and raised 
families.





Additional Comments:
This headstone is difficult to read.  It says ELIZABETH, wife of John Chapman, 
her dates of birth and death and an inscription that she was a member of the 
Jones Creek Baptist Church for 47 years.
