Salem Baptist Church. Note states - written July 18, 1982 by Mrs. Bentley, Lincolnton, GA 30817. "My husband, William Bently, is clerk of Salem Baptist Church. We have the church records at our home and have read as far back as they go. Some of the records were lost or either were put back in the wrong place. Some of the books were so badly worn that we sent them to Atlanta and had them microfilmed in 1969. Pages were out and misplaced and we feel they did the best they could do to get them back together as well as they did. We hope the informatiion we are sending will be of some help to you."
