Witnesseth, that the said Randol Ramsay as well for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which he the sd Randol Ramsay hath & beareth into the said Allen Ramsay, his son, as also for the maintainance, support & livlihood of him the sd Allen Ramsay, hath given, granted, alieued & confirmed and by these presents doth give, grant alieu & confirm unto the said Allen Ramsay, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of Land, Situate in the County of Lincoln, State of Georgia & lying on Savannah River adjoining Mrs Martha Leverette & others, containing Six hundred and ten acres more or less originally granted to Henry Ware, Sr. decd. on which the sd Randol Ramsay now resides Together with all and Singular the hereditaments & appurtances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, to have & to hold the said land, tenements, hereditaments and all and singular the premesis hereby with their and every of their appertenances unto the sd. Allen Ramsay, his Heirs & Assigns forever The said Randol Ramsay retaining an Interest and possession of said tract of land for himself & wife Mary Ramsay during their natural lives and the said Randol Ramsay for himself, his Heirs, Executors and administrators, doth agree to & with the said Allen Ramsay his heirs & assigns Shall, and lawfully may, from time to time and at all times after the decease of the said Randol Ramsay and his wife -------------Ramsay peaceably and quietly have, hold, use, occupy & enjoy the sd. land farm, Tenements & hereditaments hereby granted and confirmed or mentioned or intended to be granted & confirmed with their & every of their appurtenances free clear and fully discharged, or well and sufficiently Saved, Kept Harmless and in a unnified(?) of from & against All forever gifts,grants, bargains,safes, ?intures, dowers& Estates and of from and against all forever & other like charges & incumberances whatsoever had done or suffered or to be had, done or suffered by him, the said Randol Ramsay his Heirs or assigns or any other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim or from or under him, them or any of them In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand &seal this day and date first above written--- Signed Sealed & delivered in presence of } Randoph Ramsey Seal Wm Dowsing J.
