Carver, formerly of said county, who departed this life intestate on the 1st. day of June 1864 (from wounds rec.d in the battle of the Wilderness, Virginia) residing at the time of his death in said county of Lincoln worth about eight thousand dollars in land & negroes, respectfully sheweth to the court that she desires a citiation to issue in her behalf calling upon all persons interested to show cause at the proper time & place, why letters of administration upon said James H. Carvers estate should not be granted to her, futher your petitioner showeth that she is qualified in all respects to become such administrater & will faithfully administrate James H. Carvers estate.
