WILL OF THOMAS GLAZE--1805 Pg. 57-58 Bk B, 60-61 Bk

Court 1796-1808

In the name of God Amen I Thomas Glaze of Lincoln
County and State of Georgia being in proper sences
but low in personal health make this my last will and
testament revoking all others made before by me.  In
the first place I give and bequeath unto my beloved
wife, Milly Glaze the following property to wit,
Harry, Joe Isaac and Hannah also  three head of
horses, the sorrel horse this little black mare and
the young bay coalt.  Also fifteen head of cattle
such as she shall choose out of my stock, also the
stock of hogs, sheep and geese and all my house hold
furniture and plantation tools that may be proper for
the use of the plantation also my land and plantation
for her to have and to hold during her life or widow
hood for the purpose of raising my children and
giving them liberal education the balance to be sold
to pay all just demands and the balnce to put to
interest by the executors and distributed among my
children equally. As they become of age or marry  and
its further my will and desire that my wife Milly
Glaze shall give to each and every one of my
children, Salley only excepted, the sum of fifty in
such house hold furniture or stock as she may think
proper and at her death or end of widow hood the
whole of the property real and personal to be sold
and equally divided among all my children except
those that may not be of age nor married, shall have
the sum of fifty dollars more to make them all equal
and as such I recommend myself and dear family into
the hands of almighty God.  This being my last will
and testament given under my hand and seal this the
11th of February 1805.
