He died 13 Aug 1904 in Liberty Co., Ga and was buried in Jones Creek, Liberty, Georgia. Hendley married Ellen Talulah CHAPMAN on 1891. Ellen Talulah CHAPMAN was born 15 Feb 1871 in Liberty Co., Ga. She died 18 Feb 1952 in Liberty Co., Ga and was buried in Jones Creek, Long, Georgia. Ellen married Hendley Washington GORDON on 1891. Her parents were Thomas Jefferson "Bud" CHAPMAN, born 22 Aug 1844 in Jones Creek Community of Liberty County, died 26 Nov 1914 and was buried in Jones Creek, Liberty, Georgia. Bud married Christianna FLETCHER on 2 Jun 1870 in Liberty Co., Ga By J. Tatum. Additional Comments: Ellen Talulah Chapman Gordon was the mother of seven children, one of who died in infancy. Her husband, Hendley Gordon was from a large family with wide connections. His father was Hendley Gordon, his mother was Miss Clemintine Simmons. Mr. Gordon descended from and was connected with many families that were prominent in the early history of this section of Georgia.
