Samuel Nathaniel CHAPMAN, born 18 Nov 1842 in Liberty Ctny., Ga, died 26 Sep 
1927 in Long Co., Ga and was buried in Jones Creek, Long Co., Ga. Samuel 
married (3) Martha Frances FUTCH on 11 Sep 1872 in Bryan Cnty, Georgia.  Samuel 
was a private in the "Altamaha Scouts" (Co. I, 25th Ga. Infantry Regulars) 
during the Civil War.  His parents were John CHAPMAN, born 15 Apr 1810 in 
Liberty Co., Ga., died 30 May 1895 in Liberty Co., Ga, buried in Jones Creek, 
Liberty Co., Ga. and Elizabeth DELK, married on 16 Feb 1837 in Liberty Co., Ga.
