 Clare Lois Barrineau, 75, of Valdosta died September 5, 2006 at Holly Hill 
Nursing Home.
 Born December 27, 1930 in Doerun to the late Marcellous "Pat" and Lois Tittle 
Dismuke, she grew up in Nashville and lived in Valdosta since 1960. She was a 
member of Park Avenue United Methodist Church and the Christian Homebuilders 
Sunday School Class. She was married to the late William Clinton Barrineau.
 Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Carolyn (DeeDee) and William L. 
Girardin of Lake Park; son, Byron Brit Barrineau of Carrolton; five 
grandchildren, Michael Wayne Cargile, Eidson Thomas Cargile of Lake Park, 
Melissa Sheets Worton of Covington, Katie Girardin (Donald) Altman of Valdosta 
and Lea Anna Girardin (Johnny) Goodwin of Cummings; four great grandchildren; 
sister in law, Vivian (L.O. "Buddy") Gaskins of Tifton; brothers in law, Harry 
(Martha) Barrineau and Everett Barrineau of Tifton; sister in law, Ann (Robert) 
Chapman of Ludowici; three cousins, Sybil Tittle of Lady Lakes, FL, Lorraine 
Edge of Columbus, William Guy Clyatt of Valdosta; two nieces, Marcia Gaskins of 
Valdosta and Tammy (Bobby) Jones of Brookfield; two nephews, Phil Barrineau and 
Mark Gaskins of St. Augustine, FL.
 Funeral services were held September 11 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Carson 
McLane Funeral Home with Dr. Craig Rikard and Rev. V.L. Daughtery officiating.
 Carson McLane Funeral Home of Valdosta was in charge of arrangements.
