Obituaries

JJ BOONE, 78, of HAHIRA DIES
DOD:  July 11, 1950

Hahira:  JJ Boone, 78, died in an Adel hospital today at 10 AM following a 
brief illness.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4 PM at the Hahira 
Methodist Church.  The Rev James A. Agee, pastor, and the Rev Albert L Hall of 
Doerun, are to officiate.

Mr. Boone was a native of Raleigh, North Carolina.  His parents moved to 
Willacoochee where he lived until he moved to Hahira 30 years ago.  His wife 
was the late Sarah Pafford.

He is survived by four sons, Leonard Boone, and Willie B Boone both of 
Jacksonville, FL.  JB Boone of Hahira, GA and AC Boone of Adel; three 
daughters, Mrs. Agnes Lehman of Hahira, Mrs. Geraldine Miller and Mrs. Lena 
Edwards both of Tampa; 35 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

The Wiseman Funeral Home is in charge.
