                                Oliver C. Foskey
 Oliver C. Foskey, 64, of Valdosta, died in Pineview General Hospital this 
morning after a short illness.
 He was born in Hazlehurst and lived in Valdosta for the past four years. He 
was a member of the Methodist church and employed at the Troupeville Prison.
 Survivors include his wife; seven daughters, Mrs. Ralph Foreman of Houston, 
Tex., Mrs. Richard H. Callahan, Mrs. Fritz Templeton, Miss Joann Foskey, all 
of Valdosta, Mrs. Frank Fricks Jr. of Graham, NC, Mrs. William C. Smith of 
Summerville, SC, Mrs. Calvin Vaughn of Baxley; two sons, Melvin C. Foskey of 
Houston and Richard O. Foskey of Tallahassee, Fla.; two brothers, Randolph 
Foskey of Houston and George D. Foskey of Hazlehurst; and seven grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held at 2pm Sunday at the Carson McLane Funeral 
Home. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery.

Oliver was born 10 Aug 1901 to Benjamin Durant Foskey Sr. and Nancy J. Ring.
