                                    Foskey
 Birdie May Yates Foskey, 76, died Friday in Atlanta after a lengthy illness.
 She was born in Elizabethtown, Ky. and was a resident of Valdosta.
 Survivors include six daughters: Mrs. Ada Mae Foreman of Valdosta, Ga., Mrs. 
Betty Grossman of Riverview, Fla., Mrs. Mary Ann Baughn (should be Vaughn) of 
Baxley, Ga., Mrs. Dorothy Fricks of Graham, NC., Mrs. Joann Rutland of Lake 
Park and Mrs. Lois Smith of Palatka, Fla.; one son, Richard Foskey of 
Valdosta; nine grandchildren; and a number of great-grandchildren.
 Services will be in the Carson-McLane Chapel and the Rev. Jim Shappaugh will 
officiate.
 Burial will be at Sunset Hills Cemetery Sunday at 2pm.

Birdie Mae was born 2 Sep 1907 to William A. Yates and Ethel Unknown Yates. 
Her husband, Oliver Columbuis Foskey, is also buried at Sunset Hill Cemetery.
