Hardin, 75, of Lake Park, died July 19, 2014, at home. She was born February 21, 1939, in Nashville to the late R. D. and Nell Whaley. She was a dedicated U.S. Army wife and also volunteered at the Arts Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Hardin. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Robin and Gary Parks of Lake Park; two grandchildren, Nicolas Parks and Rebecca (Vince) Altobello, all of Lake Park; four great-grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob, Avery, and Riley, all of Lake Park; one brother and sister-in-law, Don and Evelyn Whaley of Nashville. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service was held July 26 at 3 p.m. at Center Cross Baptist Church in Valdosta.
