  Ruth Philindia Ratcliffe, 75, of Valdosta died January 14, 2008 at Berrien 
County Hospital.
  Born October 16, 1932 in Moberly, Missouri to the late John J. and Mabel 
Stewart Benjamin, she had lived in this area most of her life and was of the 
Pentacostal faith.
  Survivors include her children and their spouses, Richard Daniel Hopson of 
Cecil, Rebecca Sue Bland of Land O'Lakes, FL, Frankie and Keith Coleman of 
Nashville, Frank and Wanda Bohanan, Nina and Keith Coleman of Nashville, Frank 
and Wanda Bohanan, Nina and Kenny Keen, all of Valdosta; 18 grandchildren, 29 
great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Benjamin, and 
three brothers, James Benjamin, Johnny Benjamin and George Benjamin.
  Funeral services were held January 17 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Carson 
McLane Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Cotterill officiating.
 Interment was in Statenville.
  Carson McLane Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
