  Lilly Susan "Sue" Ray, 70, of Hahira died July 5, 2008 at Smith Northview 
Hospital.
  She was born January 18, 1938 in Cook County to the late George Henry and 
Lona Belle Register Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of King's Chapel 
Baptist Church.
  Survivors include her husband, Barney M. Ray of Hahira; two daughters, Nancy 
Faye Brogdon of Nashville and Peggy Gwendolyn Parrish of Mims, FL; son, Earl 
Larry Ray of Hahira; sister, Mattie Belle Rozier of Hahira; four grandchildren; 
four great-grandchildren.
  Funeral services were held July 8 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Scott King and Charles Merwin officiating. The Believers 
provided appropriate music. 
  Interment was in Bennett Cemetery.
  Pallbearers were Brinson Joiner, Chuck Parrish, Patrick Kimbrell, Terry 
Brogdon, Ronnie Courson, Bobby Courson, Herman Rozier, Jr.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
