The ceremony was performed in an impressive manner by Rev. J.E. Wray, of that church, at half past four o'clock. The interior of the church was tastily decorated with ivy vines and palmettoes, while pot plants and hand-ome-calla lillies made a pretty picture within the chancel railing and around the organ loft. Mrs. Keller presided at the organ and Miss Jane Taylor at the violin. As the sweet strains of Mendelsohn's wedding march came from these master hands, the bridal party entered the church, as follows: Ushers, C.F. Clarke and C.C. Brantley, J.J. Dasher and W.T. Shytle. Attendants. Arthur Passmore and Miss Helen Myddelton, Corley Stapler and Miss Natalie Larsen, B.S. Richardson, best man, with the bride groom-elect, and Miss Lilla Whittington, maid of honor, with the bride-elect. As soon as the ceremony was performed the bridal party took a drive over the city and when the congregation had dispersed, returned to the church for a group photograph by Mr. Wilson. A reception was held at the home of the bride on Toombs street and an elegant repast was served. Only the members of the bridal party were in atendance. The couple were the recipients of a large number of handsome presents. The bride is a daughter of the late Marion Nelson and is a young woman of many excellent traits of character-a womanly woman. Mr. Harris is a young man who attended school here and subsequently entered business as a clerk for Mr. J.B. Varn. He is industrious, of good habits and has a bright future before him. The Times joins in a large circle of friends in good wishes for the happy couple.
