News of the death of Carl Trammell, 30, well-known Lumpkin county farmer, at his residence in Auraria, Ga., early Saturday morning, was received here by relatives. Mr. Trammell is the brother of J. B. Trammell, foreman of the composing room of The Atlanta Constitution. Death came after a protracted illness of typhoid fever, Mr. Trammell succumbing in the prime of life. The end was preceded by the sudden death of his only child a week ago. Mr. Trammell was a native of Auraria and was highly regarded in that section. In addition to his agricultural activities, he had a contract with the federal government to deliver mail in that district. Funeral services will be held at the home at 1 o'clock this afternoon, and interment will be in the family burial lot at Auraria. Besides his wife, Mr. Trammell is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Trammell, of Auraria; four brothers, J. B. Trammell, of Atlanta; William, Jeff and Lige trammell, all of Auraria, and two sisters, Mrs. R. V. Chambers, of East Point, Ga., and Miss Rosebud Trammell, of Auraria.
