He died Sept 13, 1844 in Macon County. On Jan 21, 1810 he married Penelop Alford in Jefferson County, Georgia. She was the daughter of Benjamin Alford, and was born Jan 22, 1779 in North Carolina. Her death occurred in Macon County Sept 22, 1868. In 1828 he is listed as an ordained minister Flint River Baptist Association along with Jonathan Neal as representing Mt.
