MASSEE'S LANE CEMETERY
Macon County

Located on the west side of Highway 49, directly across from 
the Camellia Society, 2 miles north of Marshallville, Georgia. 
The cemetery is quite a distance from the road, and about 220 
yards to the south of the old Massee Home.

"In Memory of Needham Massee, he departed this life 22 July, 1859, 
in the 80th year of his age.  His trust being in God, his hope was 
well founded."

"In memory of Sarah, wife of Needham Massee, she departed this life, 
October 12, 1850, the 69th year of her age. She was member of the 
Primitive Baptist Church 21 years, and died in fell triumphs of a 
gospel faith."
