NOTES: Walters Cemetery Located in Macon County on Highway
26 next to the  Five points fire station. There are some
unknown burials.

Per The History of Macon County - Louise Hays,pg 637 - 638

Jeremiah Dawson Walters was born Jan 28, 1829, son of Jesse
Walters and his wife, Martha Sanders.  He married Rebecca
Matilda Dykes, Oct 14, 1847. They had six sons: Jesse, John
Jerry, William Rufus, Walter Sampson and Verner Orlando.

William Rufus Walters was the son of Jeremiah Dawson Walters
and his wife, Rebecca Matilda Dykes, was born July 30, 1857
in Dooly County. Walter R. married Mary Clifford Burnam, on
Dec 19, 1877, in Spalding, a village near Montezuma.
