Clark 1928 John W. Clark Commissioner of Pensions Certificate of Ordinary State of Georgia, Macon County. I, A. C. Felton, Sr., Ordinary of said County, do certify, that I personally know Mrs. Green Massey, the applicant, and that she is the lawful widow of Green Massey, who was on the Pension Roll of said Macon County, and was paid a Pension from Macon _____ County for 1927, and at the time of his death on the 8th day of March 1928, there was due to him and unpaid his Pension of $50.00 Dollars from the State of Georgia, and I know J. A. Harper, the within witness, and he is of a truthful and trustworthy character and entitled to full credit. Given under my hand and seal this 19th day of July 1928. (Seal of Ordinary) Signed....A. Felton, Sr., Oridnary Macon County Application for Pension Due Deceased Soldier (To Be Paid to His Widow) (Under Act Approved October 9, 1891) State of Georgia, Macon County, Personally before me, the Ordinary of said County, comes Mrs. Green Massey of said County, who after being duly sworn, on oath says she is the Widow of Green Massey and that said Pensioner was on the Pension Roll of Macon County, and was paid a Pension of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars from said County for the 4th Quarter, 1927, and that said Pensioner died in Macon County on the 8th day of March, 1928. Applicant further swears that she married the said Green Massey on the 16th day of April, 1890, in Macon County and State of Ga, and resided with him from the date of marriage to his death and is his lawful wife, and is now his dependent widow, and she asks that the 1st Qr.
