February 11, 1898 ADMINISTRATRIX'S SALE - Agreeably to an order passed by the Ordinary of Macon County, will be sold at public outcry, before the Court House door of said county, on the first Tuesday in March next, within the legal hours of sale, the following described property to wit: The Home Place, consisting of the north half of lot of land number nine [9], containing 131 acres, more or less and the Smith or Gunn Place, situated on Whitewater Creek and consisting of the west half of lot No. 25 and all that portion of Lot No. 40 lying north of Whitewater Creek, except that portion of it belonging to Kinchen Melton and perhaps a part of Lot No. 8, all situated in the 2nd Dist. of Orig. Muscogee, now Macon County,. Sold as the property of W. W. Barfield, deceased, for the purpose of paying the debts and making distribution among the heirs of said deceased. Said Home Place of 131 acres as described above, sold subject to the right of widow of waid W. W. Barfield to dower therein. Terms Cash. This February 3rd, 1898. MARY A.
