Local Paragraphs

One of Macon County’s prominent citizens, Mr. Fielder J. Frederick, of 
Marshallville, is in the hospital at Macon with an attack of appendicitis and 
according to last reports with just about an even chance of recovery.  He is 
one of the county commissioners and was formerly representative in the general 
assembly.  It is the hope of his friends that he may be speedily restored to 
health. – Montezuma Georgian
