Hobbs are all smiles over the arrival of a little daughter who has come to brighten their home. Mr. Belt Alexander who has been visiting Mrs. A.J. parks and family near Reynolds left last Monday. His many friends regret to see him leave. Mr. Melvin Johnson who visited his parents Mr. and Mrs. Johnson and family last week. Mr. Henry McDaniel and Tommie Howard, of Macon, are visiting relatives and friends at Delta. Mrs. Stancil Johnson who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Odom at Montezuma returned home Sunday afternoon. The many friends are glad to know that Mr. Bonnie Hobbs who has been confined to his bed with measles is able to get out again. Miss Ethel Parks and Maggie McDaniel spent last Saturday and Sunday with Misses Eula and Fannie Parks. Mr. Eugene Parks lost a valuable mule last Friday night. Miss Vasser Hobbs, of Reynolds, is visiting her friend Miss Maggie McDaniel at Delta, this week. Miss Eula Parks and Mr. Johnny Johnson were seen out driving Sunday afternoon. Quite a crowd spent last Sunday afternoon at Hicks’ mill, namely: Misses Eula and Fronnie Parks, Vassar Hobbs, Maggie McDaniel; Messrs. Eugene Parks and Johnny Johnson. Mr. and Mrs. David Whatley spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Childers at Garden Valley. Ask a certain young lady and young man how they like to go boat riding. The girls are all smiles to see a certain young man from Macon come back to dear old Reynolds. Guess who he is. We are sorry to state that Miss Ruth McDaniel is on the sick list this week. Mr. Henry McDaniel, of Macon, who has been visiting his mother and family at Delta, returned home last Saturday p.m. It grieves us all to hear of the death of the little son of Mr. and Mrs. W.R. Whatley, of Reynolds. Say, Eugene, how is Garden Valley? Please tell us her name. Miss Ellen Neisler and John Henry Underwood were seen out driving Sunday p.m. Write again, Cracker Jack, we like your news. Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Hobbs spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Hobbs. Miss Jettie Crook, of Potterville, is visiting her aunt, Mrs. David Whatley here this week. Mr. and Mrs. Chess Hobbs spent last Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. O.D. Hobbs. Preaching at Delta every first Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. Everybody is invited to attend. Miss Jettie Crook and Bufford Cox were seen out driving Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. B.H. Hobbs spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. H.F. McDaniel and family. Johnny Johnson was all smiles Sunday afternoon. Wonder what about? Mrs. David Whatley and her niece were in Reynolds shopping last Thursday morning. Little Miss Susie Payne is visiting her friends in Delta this week. The many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Eubanks were grieved to learn that the Death Angel visited their home last Thursday morning and took away their dear little baby. Weep not, dear parents, for we know it is resting in the arms of Jesus. We know the dear little one will be missed at home, but we must all strive to meet in the better world above.
