Bryan of Marshallville, Ga. died March 14, 1894. She was born November 11, 1814 and though she was nearing her four score years, she had never had a serious spell of sickness before. She had typhoid pneumonia, and was sick four weeks, and though she suffered much, she bore her suffering with great Christian fortitude and was ever thoughtful for those who were nursing her; she seemed to realize she was going and was resigned to the Lord's will. She raised eight children to be grown, but husband and all her children but one had "passed over the river" before her. Though she had much trouble, she was always bright and cheerful and could always find a "silver lining" to every cloud. The poor and needy always found in her a friend and she did much good in a quiet way. She leaves one daughter and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren to mourn their loss, and may the dear Lord sanctify her life and death to their good, and may they bow in humble submission to His will and try to feel that "He doeth all things well."
