Death Takes Father of Local Woman

Ernest Fowler, 84, of Montezuma, died Thursday morning at a Macon County 
hospital after suffering a recent heart attack.

He was a retired grocer and a native Georgian.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Gussie Fowler, Montezuma; two daughters, 
Mrs. Lena Parker of Columbus, and Mrs. Jenny Price, Montezuma, three sons, 
George, Eian and Ernest Fowler, Jr., all of Montezuma; a sister, Mrs. Alma 
Mathews, Columbus, 19 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and 
nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Montezuma Baptist Church.
