Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2007, in the chapel of Watson-Giddens Funeral Home with burial to follow in the County Line Baptist Church cemetery. The Rev. Jessie Russell will officiate. Mrs. Grimsley was born February 18, 1918, in Macon County, Georgia, the daughter of Ernest Warren James and Mildred Texas James. She was a homemaker and a member of Buena Vista Church of Christ. Mrs. Grimsley was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Abraham Leonard Grimsley, and a son, Abraham Leonard Grimsley, Jr. Survivors include four sons and daughters-in-law, Warren and Pearl Grimsley of Ellaville, Floyd and Joyce Grimsley of Ellaville, Lewie and Elaine Grimsley of Buena Vista, Ga., and Dewey and Barbara Grimsley of Jackson, Ga.; two sisters, Hazel Guined of Butler, Ga., and Mary Bell Forehand of Warner Robins, Ga. Mrs. Grimsley is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Kenneth Grimsley, Clyde Grimsley, Cecil Grimsley, William James, Ralph Grimsley and H.
