Georgia News

A negro named Hamp Nixon was murdered and robbed at Montezuma one day last week 
by Peter Reynolds, a colored boy sixteen years old.  The body of the negro was 
thrown into the river to cover the deed.  The boy secured a watch and $25 in 
money.  He has been arrested, confessed the crime and is now in jail.
