Two Negroes on Mr. Monroe Childs place, between Ideal and Oglethorpe, George 
McCrary and John Henry Spivey got into a shooting scrape last week from which 
Spivey was instantly killed and McCrary was arrested and carried to the 
Oglethorpe jail.
