The many friends of Mr. William Blackmon were made sad when they learned of his 
death which occurred last Monday.  Mr. Blackmon was one of the most highly 
respected citizens of Macon County and will be greatly missed for being one of 
its oldest citizens.  He was a man of honor and integrity and commanded the 
respect of all.  A large host of friends extend sympathy to the bereaved family.
