Died

At his home near Delta, Mr. W.F.E. Ogburn, one of the best citizens of Macon 
County died on Wednesday last after an illness of about two weeks.  He was well 
known in this community and had many friends who will regret to learn of his 
death.  He was a member of the Primitive Baptist church and an honest, upright 
citizen, who lived fully up to his religious profession.  His remains were 
interred at New Hope cemetery on Thursday surrounded by a large assemblage of 
sorrowing friends and relatives.  His family have the sympathy of all in their 
sad bereavement.
