The remains of Mr. Vincent Meadows, who died at his home near the line of Macon 
and Taylor counties at about 5 o’clock on Friday morning  last, was interred in 
the cemetery in Butler on Saturday morning.  Mr. Meadows was the father of Mrs. 
M.D. Chapman.  He was 90 years and 20 days old and for 70 years was a faithful 
and consistent member of the Missionary Baptist church.  He was loved by all 
who knew him and led a life worthy of emulation.
