Senator C.A. Carson left suddenly on Sunday in response to a telegram summoning him to the bedside of his aunt, Mrs. F.M. Bryan, at Reynolds, Ga., who has been very ill for many months. From the Kissimmee Valley Gazette Friday, June 13, 1902. Senator C.A. Carson left on Friday for Reynolds, Ga., where he had been called by telegram announcing the death of his aunt, Mrs. Bryan. THE BUTLER HERALD - Butler, Ga. June 10, 1902 Died - Mrs. F. M. Bryan died near Reynolds on Friday. Was 61 years old. Leaves no children. Was aunt of A. A. Carson and R. A. Carson. has 2 neices, Mrs. Lula Waters and Mrs. L. B. Hicks all of Columbus. Buried at the family burying ground on the plantation, 5 miles south of Reynolds.
