FUNERAL IS HELD FOR MRS. BRYAN - MARSHALLVILLE WOMAN DIES AT DAUGHTER'S HOME
Marshallville, Ga. Oct. 17, 1936 - Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. 
Edgar Coleman Bryan, prominent Marshallville resident, who died Thursday after 
a long illness.
Mrs. Bryan was the former Miss Bessie Chandler of Atlanta. She moved to 
Marshallville at an early age and was educated in public schools here. She was 
a charter member of the Baptist Church and was active in religious affairs 
until her health failed.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harris Richard of Marshallville, two 
sons, Capt. Bert Nathan Bryan of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Alva Robert Bryan of 
West Palm Beach, Fla., father, J. E. Chandler of Atlanta; two brothers, Inard 
Chandler of Atlanta, and Alva Chandler of Macon and one sister, Mrs. Maude L. 
Robertson of Columbia, South Carolina.
