 Marriage of Elizabeth L Bryan and Richard Griggs on 27 Aug 1848.
According to her widow's pension declaration filed in 1891,
Elizabeth L Bryan married Richard Griggs near Marshalville
on or about 27 August 1848 by Rev John Wade. Depositions by
Wm A Bryan and Sarah Parham state they were present at the
wedding and saw them married. Wm A Bryan was her brother. In
1900 census records, Sarah Parham lived near Elizabeth
Griggs near Snow in Dooly County. I would also like to know
Sarah Parham's maiden name, if anyone has that information.
