Holmon were married on the 21st of January at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Mathews near Montezuma, Ga. Soon after the ceremony they left for Americus thence to Macon, where they are “at home” to their friends at 321 Forsyth St. Miss Mathews is a popular and attractive young lady of Montezuma and has been principal of the Rupert school for the last two years. She is well known throughout this section and her many friends wish for her and the fortunate groom a long and happy married life. Mr. Holmon is a student of Mercer Law School, his home being at Leslie, Ga., where he has a host of friends. He is a member of the senior law class at Mercer and his friends predict for him honors on Examination Day as well as afterwards.
